My Path to Everyday Alchemy

I’m Rebecca, the herbalist behind Everyday Alchemy.

This work didn’t begin as a business, it began as a need. I was searching for ways to support the people I love through chronic anxiety, stress, and a nervous system that felt constantly overwhelmed.

What started as curiosity quickly became something deeper: a commitment to understanding how the body responds to stress, and how plants can gently support it.

The Philosophy

I don’t believe wellness should be all or nothing. Real change doesn’t come from doing everything perfectly, it starts with one small, consistent shift. When the nervous system feels supported, everything else becomes more accessible. From there, you can begin to build a rhythm that feels steady, restorative, and sustainable over time.

of Regulation

Supporting the nervous system begins with understanding how the body moves through stress, support, and recovery.

The Herbs Behind the Blends

Each blend begins with plants chosen for their ability to support balance at the root.

  • On my own journey, I eventually came to realize that most wellness advice ignores a simple reality: sustainability. When your body is locked in hypervigilance or running on empty, the right habits feel out of reach. For me, herbalism became a bridge, a way to meet the body exactly where it is and gently create the space needed for change.

That’s why I focus on the nervous system first. I don’t believe in all-or-nothing rules or complicated rituals that add more stress to your plate. Instead, I use a research-heavy lens to formulate blends that actually work with your physiology, helping you move from a state of depletion back into balance.

  • Every blend is rooted in both study and experience. I bring the same research-heavy lens from my previous academic background to everything I formulate, spending hours with clinical studies and reference books to understand how plants actually interact with our physiology.

My work is centered on the systems that regulate stress, energy, and rest. I formulated these teas to support specific moments of your day, creating a simple, ritual-based approach that meets you exactly where you are.

  • The heart behind this work is deeply personal. I watched my husband move through constant anxiety and overwhelm, and over time, with small daily rituals, things began to shift. It didn’t happen all at once, but that first change created the capacity for everything that followed. I started Everyday Alchemy to share those same tools with anyone else who is just trying to find a little more room to breathe.

  • Every blend begins with the soil. I prioritize sourcing from farms that use regenerative practices because true herbal integrity means supporting the earth as much as the body.

I’m picky about where these plants come from. Every herb I source is organic (no exceptions). I’m also actively working to source from growers right here in Florida and across the Southeast, prioritizing Regenerative Organic Certified farms whenever possible. Sourcing closer to home keeps the herbs fresh and supports the regional ecosystems we’re actually part of.
